What are you supposed to do if news outlets across the nation are warning of an inevitable disease epidemic, all thanks to ticks?
There's not much more reason to be worried this year than last, or than 10 years ago if we're being honest. The chances of encountering ticks increase when you're an outdoorsman or woman, but there are smart ways to avoid them.
What gets tricky is when you find one that has attached itself. Please, don't try and do something reserved for medical professionals, and NEVER try to remove a tick from your skin without training, care, and confidence.
