A young couple with a child that were out fishing discovered a brave barred owl that took fish right out of their boat!
What appears to be a barred owl was also a brave young bird that was mighty hungry.
These nice folks seemed to be on a fishing trip with their child when one of the silent hunters decided it had a hankering for fresh fish.

The little tyke in the boat with mom and dad was just as calm as could be. What an adventure! Thanks to these fun-loving parents for sharing their experience with the rest of us.
It's not known at this time where this happened, (perhaps they will share that some day) but it did appear to be a young barred owl.
