Founder Tate Huffard's mission is to deliver beer that not only tastes good, but does not fog you up or slow you down. Branded as being brewed for surfers, doers, climbers, mothers, fathers, runners, hikers, early risers, free divers, farmers, chefs, gardeners, dancers, walkers, makers, ranchers, nurses, wood workers, teachers, skiers, bikers, doctors, hot-air ballooners, clowns, bakers, entrepreneurs, tree huggers, people huggers, photographers, pit masters, neighbors, snowshoers, fishermen, fisherwomen, foragers, fans, musicians, poets, lifeguards...so basically anyone who likes beer.
"I really love good beer," Huffard said. "A good beer has a unique ability to bring friends and family together in a way that few other things can. It can also be a perfect ending to a good day, to a bad day, to a run, to a day on the mountain, or a day at the beach. There's no shortage of opportunities to crack open a beer in Northern California. But I also have come to realize that I don't always want my beer to slow me down. Life is chock full of moments that deserve a great craft beer, but not the booze. With this in mind, we started our pursuit of creating a great tasting genuine craft beer, that also happened to be non-alcoholic. After years of iterations, development, and investment in state-of-the-art technology, we've created a lineup of truly great non-alcoholic beers we can hang our hat on."
Best Day Brewing Varieties
Best day brewing currently offers three varieties: Kolsch style, West Coast IPA, and Hazy IPA.
The Kolsch style is brewed with a combination of Cologne and Pilsner malts and Hallertau Traditional hops to create a refreshingly complex, non-alcoholic Kolsch-style ale. It has a sturdy caramel malt flavor that is perfectly balanced by the citrusy hops, leaving a bright and crisp finish.
The West Coast IPA has a rich malt backbone that provides ample structure for the grapefruit Cascade notes to shine. Best Day Brewing calls it an ode to the beers that started the IPA revolution.
The Hazy IPA is not available to consumers just yet. Honeyed amber in color, it has a strong hop-forward aroma with hints of resinous pine and grapefruit. It has a smooth, complex citrus flavor with a full and lively mouthfeel and a dry finish.
The Kolsch style and the West Coast IPA are available to order on the company's website, BestDayBrewing.com.

Best Day Brewing is a proud member of 1% For The Planet. They have committed to donating at least 1% of annual sales to local non-profits that are approved by 1% For The Planet.

1% for the Planet is a global organization that pairs businesses and individuals with approved environmental nonprofits. It was founded in 2002 by Yvon Chouinard, founder of Patagonia, and Craig Mathews, founder of Blue Ribbon Flies. Today, 1% for the Planet is a network of more than 3,800 members in more than 64 countries who have given over $275 million to environmental nonprofits.
