Fire Up Your Grille Vehicle Show
On September 17, the Mid-Michigan Community College hosts the Fire Up Your Grille Vehicle Show. Featuring a barbecue, the entry cost for any entrant is $20.00 per car, admission for any attendant is free. Featuring mostly classic cars, the Fire Up Your Grille show is a nice, quaint little event that will put a smile on the face of any car enthusiast.
Orphan Car Show, Ypsilanti
The Orphan Car Show occurs annually in Ypsilanti, Michigan, about twenty miles east of Ann Arbor, at Riverside Park. It focuses on "orphaned" car brands, brands that have faded into distant memory and are forgotten. The manufacturers of focus are Apex Motors, Hudson, Tucker, Kaiser-Frazer, and the controversial Corvair.
It takes place on Sunday, September 17, 2017, and admission is $6.00 for adults, and children twelve and under are free. Additionally, participation in the Sunday show costs $25.00 per vehicle, and participation in the cruise on Saturday runs you $10.00 per car.
Concours d'Elegance of America
The Concours d'Elegance of America is undoubtedly one of the best car shows in the United States. Featuring the finest classics that the world has to offer, the Concours d'Elegance of America takes place from July 27-29 at the Inn at St. Johns 44045 Five Mile Road, Plymouth, Michigan.
The tickets from this year's July show costed $35 dollars if ordered online, or $45 at the gate, so it is likely to stay the same for the following year. This event is a must-see for any classic car enthusiast.
