With the threat of a Democratic administration for all of 2016, the sales, especially of handguns and semi-auto rifles, definitely helped shape this list. Now, however, with President Trump and a republican Congress, sales should continue to grow through the 2017 season.
"America was not built on fear. America was built on courage, on imagination and an unbeatable determination to do the job at hand." That was said by none other than the 33rd President of the United States, Harry S. Truman.
With that, although sales may have increased in previous years for political reasons, it's possible that courage and pride in our Second Amendment will continue to increase sales and push further for freedom and the right to bear arms.
