Every now and then, you're surprised by something other than your intended quarry.
You never know what you're going to see in the deer woods. You can spend hours in a treestand waiting for a deer only to see what seems to be every other species in North America.
Heck, you can sit on the couch watching trail camera footage and experience the same thing. However, every now and then, something spectacular happens. Perhaps it's that big buck you've been hoping to see. Maybe it's an albino deer or turkey. It could just be a raccoon doing something funny.
Although nature has a way of always surprising us, it's something you can never truly prepare for.
Here we have something that seems just as random, as a bowhunter in a ground blind witnessed what looks like a wood duck stampede running through the forest.

I've seen some crazy stuff while hunting, but I can safely say I've never seen this many ducks in my life, especially not in the middle of the woods!
If there's one thing for certain, it's that this guy knows where to set up his duck blind next season, and he knows what kind of ducks to look for.
What's even crazier is that the ducks were still coming when he stopped recording, so there's no telling how many birds there actually were.
