This giant manta ray seen swimming off the coast of Hilton Head is a sight to behold.
The Outcast Sport Fishing charter and its crew recorded a huge 16-foot manta ray swimming of the Hilton head coast.
The charter is regionally know for successfully catching great white sharks that, up until recently, didn't frequent the eastern shoreline. This enormous creature was an added bonus for the crew a few weeks ago.
The manta ray showed up right around Valentine's Day (however, it appeared to be lonely on the national holiday of love).
The beautiful thing about the ocean is you never know what you will see. It is a place of great mystery. The more time you spend on the water, the more you'll learn. Manta rays are giant, yet, graceful creatures. This one is big enough for three full grown men to ride on.
