We're used to seeing crocodiles being aggressive and clamping down on their prey. Sometimes, though, things don't work out for the croc.
The Scotia Dam African live stream from the Greater Kruger National Park area in South Africa caught the following encounter between a croc and a buffalo.
The croc latches on the leg of a friend of the cape buffalo—who doesn't stand for this rude behavior. A scuffle begins on the river bank.
It didn't learn its lesson after the first time, either!
While the bitten buffalo is shaken, the crocodile comes away even more stirred from the encounter.
Sometimes, you need a little help from your friends, or in this case, a horn or two.
Even though this particular South African game reserve area is littered with powerful, dangerous wild animals like rhinos, hippos, hyenas, big cats, and even great white sharks off the coast, it's the crocodile attacks that worry most people.
