If you want to build an insanely mobile and comfortable hunting blind, you've come to the right place.
Hunting stands and blinds occupy the minds of hunters all year. How can I make my blind better? How can I make it more comfortable? What if I put it in the wrong place?
All of these are legitimate questions and ones we don't want to get wrong.
But now, thanks to this insanely mobile and comfortable hunting blind, a lot of those questions can now take care of themselves. By building one of these blinds, you not only give yourself complete comfort an almost any weather, but you also give yourself the freedom to move your blind at any time.
What is this blind I'm talking about? It's really quite simple. All you have to do is get a small utility trailer and build a small building on its platform.
Those of you who feel confident in your building abilities can even go a step further. You can easily build the trailer to match your needs, and maybe even put more or larger wheels and tires on it for off-road purposes, even though it really isn't necessary.
With a better look at the inside, you can see how easy it'll be to add a simple frame and some plywood to create the structure of your blind.
Once you have the general structure, you can start adding things like the carpet to keep sound down and help retain warmth, and even carpet or insulation to the walls if you want.
But, even more important than the carpets are the openings for you to shoot from.
You want to make sure these are able to be silently opened and then securely stored while you're hunting. This particular blind has hinges on top with latches to store them above the opening. You could also do the opposite.
As you can see here, it'll be very helpful for you to put a door that can close on one side of your blind, as well as stands on the corners that you can lower to ensure stability while you're actually hunting.
You'll also want to cover the outside of your blind. What you use for this really depends on what you do with the wood and how much you plan to move your blind.
I covered this particular blind with a shingle-like, waterproof material. It doesn't really matter what you use as long as it'll keep out water, and the more camouflage the better.
