Shopping for a new bed can be an awkward experience. It's kind of like shopping for a new car, but instead of taking the new car for a test drive to determine whether it's right for you, you must take the new bed for a bed test.
If you don't know what a bed test is, it's basically sitting/lying on a bed and testing it for comfort. Sounds simple enough, but if you really want to find out what the new bed has to offer, you're going to have to really get in there: tossing, turning, jumping, flipping, etc. All this while a bed salesperson stands aside and observes this odd behavior.
Unlike me, and many other people, this four-month-old English Bulldog pup named Chunk is unashamed to do the bed test. He gets right to it, testing every square inch of his new bed to make sure it meets his standards.

Chunk eventually stops and takes a moment to contemplate whether or not the new bed passed his test. Before finalizing his decision, he visits to his old bed for a second but quickly realizes that it can't compete with his new bed.
I don't blame Chunk for his decision. The sheer size of the new bed alone compared to the old bed is enough to make the decision crystal clear. I recently upgraded from a full to a queen, and I'll tell you right now, I find much joy in rolling around and embracing the extra space. I'm not going as crazy as Chunk, but I have my moments.
