Even if you thought you'd never, maybe this 2018 Mercedes-Benz X-Class commercial might convince you.
With the 2018 Mercedes-Benz X-Class set to go on sale before year's end, Mercedes started releasing commercials for its new mid-size pickup. While acting as enticing previews for the markets where this truck will be sold, it only acts as a tease for buyers in North America who won't be able to sample this luxurious truck.
Check out the commercial, titled "Follow," showing this truck in action.

What do you think? Would you rock a Mercedes-Benz pickup? If so, be sure to let Mercedes know.
It doesn't look like Mercedes-Benz has any plans of offering its mid-size X-Class in the U.S., but with enough demand, that could easily change.
In case you haven't heard about it yet, the 2018 Mercedes-Benz X-Class is a restyled version of the Nissan Navara, and it will be offered in Europe, Africa, Australia and South America. These markets are popular for work-ready mid-size trucks, while the U.S. shows far more love for full-size trucks.
So far, Mercedes states that it has no plans to offer the X-Class in the U.S., but if enough demand builds up, Mercedes could always change its mind.
The good news is that there is a recent resurgence for mid-size trucks in the U.S. such as the Chevrolet Colorado/GMC Canyon, Honda Ridgeline, Toyota Tacoma, the upcoming return of the Ford Ranger and a planned mid-size truck from Hyundai.
The obvious advantage that the X-Class would have is its luxury, which should easily surpass high-trim versions of the GMC Canyon, Honda Ridgeline and Toyota Tacoma that currently exist. These trucks do prove that there is a market for high-dollar, mid-size trucks as models like the Canyon Denali, Ridgeline RTE-L and Tacoma Limited are priced well into the $40,000 range.
