When you need a rifle but can only buy a pistol, interesting weapons are born. This is certainly the case with the Star Model A Pistol Carbine.
Take a standard Star Model pistol in 9mm Largo caliber and add a longer barrel. Now attach a shoulder stock and you have a short range carbine that will have better accuracy than just a handgun.
