The new BLACKHAWK! Omnivore holsters is now available, and SHOT Show 2018 attendees got to see it up close.
BLACKHAWK! has produced reliable gear since its birth back in 1993. However, the products seem to keep getting better and better as time goes on, and they really hit it out of the park this time.
The Omnivore is a one-size-fits-all kind of holster, accommodating more than 200 different handguns (the running total is 236, and counting) with accessory rails. It features an adjustable thumb-activated retention mechanism, which gives the shooter instant access to his or her weapon.
The holster's free-floating design keeps it from wearing on the gun's finish. It also comes in four different color options, which are black, blaze orange/black, coyote tan/black and urban gray/black.
The Omnivore is currently priced around $60, which is a pretty good price, especially if you have more than one gun you can use it for.
