What's the deal with this video showing what happens when Coke and Mentos are loaded in a tire?
In this clip, watch the aspiring car techs at LifeOD test the effects of combining Coca Cola and Mentos in a tire at 55 miles per hour.
First, the LifeOD crew stocks up on tons of 2-liter Coke bottles, glue gun packs, and Mentos at the local supermarket. Subsequent shots show them crazily testing out the explosive mixture, bouncing bottles off of houses and floors, before disassembling a tire, removing its rubber, pouring Coka, and gluing individual Mentos pieces all along the tire's inner surface.

What made them think this up is beyond us, but at least it made for an interesting video!
