Well this archer had a really bad day.
Security footage shows a compound bow coming apart in a hurry.
YouTuber Peace, Love and Guns shared a video that proves why you should wear safety glasses even when shooting bows. This archer is lucky he did as you will see.

It was just any other day on an archery range at a Gander Mountain store. As the security camera rolled, this archer took some shots with a compound bow. Well, that is until it exploded with tremendous power. The shooter's glasses went flying before he found himself holding an unstrung bow.
While we're not sure what caused this epic compound bow fail, we do know that his glasses probably saved eyes in this case.
