This has to be the coolest National Historic Site in the country.
These guys of the Springfield Armory National Historic Site have the best jobs.
Check out a few items they get to work around day in and day out.
These bearded fellows over at the Springfield Armory National Historic Site know their weapons history.
These interesting displays of weapons that were once sealed inside of these cans were meant for long term storage. They were ready for use instead of being coated in grease; it's pretty cool that there's no need to clean off any preservatives before use.
Special thanks to the Springfield Armory National Historic Site for sharing this great video on their Facebook page. Thank you also for keeping weapon's history alive!
