The driver had no idea it was even in there!
A woman was driving through Washington from Orondo to her job in Wenatchee when she hit something with her sedan. Unsure of what actually happened, she looked back through her rearview mirror and didn't see anything, so she kept driving.
When she got to work, she took a closer look only to find a coyote alive behind her grill.
Mechanics from a nearby car dealership, as well as an employee from Animal Care and Control provided assistance, attempted to help free the coyote from the car while others watched the bizarre series of events unfold.
One of those people was Brooks Davenport, who fortunately thought to pull out his phone and begin filming.

"She really did not even see the coyote," Davenport told The Wenatchee World in an interview.
He added that he thought the coyote traveled about 10 miles, suffering only a broken leg.
The coyote's current status is unknown, according to the report.
This isn't the first time we've seen an animal get stuck in the front of a car and catch a ride. In fact, this isn't even the first time we've seen a coyote hitch a ride.
If you think you might've hit something, it's always best to play it safe and check, just in case the animal is suffering while you're still driving. However, it's almost always best to call professionals to handle wildlife, as you never know what kind of diseases they might carry.
Sure, most people wouldn't attempt to handle a coyote because it's obviously a predator, but don't think a raccoon in a similar predicament wouldn't take a bite at a helping hand.
