This smallmouth bass had to work for this one!
Believe it or not, smallmouth bass can put out a pretty big bite. Watch this epic video as a crayfish does its best to keep from turning into lunch.
As a lifelong bass fisherman, I find that these types of videos are a great resource for finding out the feeding habits of our nation's predatory fish. How well this crayfish was able to defend itself was pretty impressive. But at the end of the day, it appears the smallmouth's persistence paid off.
