Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel features a segment on his show where celebrities read funny or mean tweets.
Deer hunters have to deal with funny and ridiculous tweets as well. Several of them recorded their responses in this video from the National Deer Alliance 2017 Deer Summit.
Some of those tweets are genuinely funny. "Deer. God's speed bump." That one made me laugh out loud.
The one about the deer carcass and the neighbors reminded me of my neighbor. One year, he set his deer head next to his deck and let it break down for weeks.
Another year, he chucked one into a tree on his property. It was difficult to miss up there.
Now, unlike the person in the tweet, I don't hate my neighbor. I think it's cool to look out my window and see it.
Of course, there are a few head scratchers. You have to hear them to believe them.
They make you want to react like Grant Woods from Growing Deer TV: "Just don't vote, okay? Just don't vote."
