This footage of an apparently pink dolphin swimming in a pod in front of a freighter is puzzling more than a few curious people.
Pink dolphins apparently do exist, and one was caught on camera in a Louisiana channel swimming with a pod.
Bridget Boudreaux who captured "pinky" on video was taking a boat cruise with her husband when they spotted the rare dolphin. The dolphin was swimming in the Calcasieu Ship Channel and jumped out of the water multiples times.
Thankfully, Boudreaux captured the moment quickly as the dolphin launched out of the channel. In fact, after "pinky" was spotted, one other pink dolphin was seen too. However, Boudreaux couldn't capture both on video.
The dolphins swam approximately 20 feet from the large boat.
What do you think? Real, hoax, or something else altogether?
