There are a multitude of great Budweiser Clydesdale commercials out there.
From commercials like "Brotherhood," which highlighted the relationship between a baby Clydesdale and his trainer, to a briefly aired Super Bowl commercial paying tribute to the victims of 9/11, Budweiser always seems to know just how to pull at the viewer's heartstrings. But of all its classic television spots, the company's famous donkey guest star may have been one of its best.
Aired in 2004, it portrays a humble donkey with a life-long dream to become a Budweiser Clydesdale. It's a beloved commercial for many reasons: Everyone loves an underdog, and everyone understands the struggle it takes to reach a goal. This adorable commercial contains both.
Watch as the donkey works hard to realize his lifelong dream:
All Budweiser Clydesdale commercials are beautiful because of the gorgeous horses who star in them. But this commercial also contains an extra dose of cute, as few things are more adorable than watching a little donkey trot proudly at the head of a Clydesdale hitch.
The Budweiser commercial also reminds us of the rewards of perseverance and hard work, and the importance of believing in yourself. After all, if a tiny donkey can become a Budweiser Clydesdale, anything's possible, right?
