The new Tesla Roadster was unveiled as "One more thing..." after CEO Elon Musk announced Tesla Semi.
As Tesla CEO Elon Musk talked to crowds at a press event about the new Tesla Semi project, most in attendance were impressed by the truck project and ready to say Tesla was taking a pretty smart route. Some would have even argued they're setting the pace for this sort of revolutionary movement.
We knew the Tesla event was going to, as they say, shake things up. But we weren't expecting this.

There's going to be big things coming out of Tesla Semi, and there could easily be another huge market for the return of the Roadster. Reports say it has a 200kWh battery that can manage 620 highway miles. Oh, and it will hit 60 mph in 1.9 seconds.
Forgot to mention the 250+mph top speed and 8.9 second quarter-mile time.

At least electric car companies are trying to keep things cool. With seemingly everyone ready to jump on the bandwagon and challenge Tesla, Musk had a new Roadster up his sleeve all along.
A lot of people would call that "staying on top of the pack."
