Camping in style and comfort has never been easier than it is today. All you need to do is perform a quick Google search, and you'll be treated to dozens of camper vans and recreational vehicles that could make any trip through the wilderness seem like a five-star hotel experience.
Of course, not everyone has the funds to afford a top-of-the-line luxury camper. That's where van conversions can come into play, though even those can cost quite a pretty penny, not to mention take a decent amount of time to complete. But not to worry: If you're looking for a quick and cheap way to get that van converted for an upcoming road trip or camping trip, you've come to the right place.
In preparation for a nine-month climbing expedition, one engineer from the United Kingdom spent only seven days and $1,000 on a van conversion, and on top of all that, he shows us how he did it! In the video below, you can see some of the tools he used and methods he employed to make a quality camper van in as little time and with as little money as possible.

Wow. Pretty awesome, right? This van pretty much has everything you could need: great storage capabilities, plenty of room to cook, a quality water system, and a solid sleeping set-up. Most importantly, it doesn't waste any space or materials. For example, the engineer's quick-to-use folding bed can also be converted into a place to sit while he's cooking meals. How's that for serious ingenuity!
It's also clear that he didn't just throw everything together in a haphazard way, but spent a decent amount of time ensuring that the carpentry work was more than solid enough.
Suffice to say, if this didn't inspire you to get started on that next (or first) van conversion project, then I don't know what will.
