Tim Wells takes his family on an epic bowfishing trip for carp on the Illinois River.
This epic bowfishing adventure might even slap you in the face.
These invasive fish crowd the Illinois River and leap out of the water when stirred up by the motor of a boat. Grass carp, silver carp and big heads that can grow to more than 100 pounds are all there for the avid fishermen to shoot with a bow.
However, it wouldn't be a true Tim Wells video unless he pulled out the blowgun. Tim's son successfully hits a carp with the dart and lands the 4-pound fish in the boat.
