No house is a home without a few pets. That couldn't be more true when it comes to "hype-woman for all things outdoors" Eva Shockey-Brent.
For Eva Shockey, family comes first. The daughter of famed Canadian outdoorsman, writer, television personality, and big-game hunter Jim Shockey comes from good stock, and she's carrying the torch even brighter raising her own family. Alongside long-time husband Tim Brent, a former professional hockey player with the NHL's Toronto Maple Leafs and Carolina Hurricanes, the couple took up residence outside Raleigh, North Carolina, where they live with their two beautiful children, Leni-Bow and Boone. The fearsome foursome are staunch conservationists who champion field-to-table meals and respecting the natural world we inhabit.
Obviously, we wouldn't be here without the very important information that follows: Let's meet the family's adorable (and might I add, incredibly photogenic) dogs!

Piper
The oldest of the two pups, Piper, is queen of this castle. As Eva explained in one Instagram post, "She is honestly happier to sleep on an expensive blanket than go outside." Piper can regularly be seen relaxing outside and nestled in her mom's lap. She may not be as invested in the outdoor lifestyle as everyone around her, but she doesn't seem to mind being comfortable!

While Piper is the resident elder, Crockett is the young buck still finding his legs. Crockett was introduced to Eva's Instagram following in January 2021, taking no time at all to capture everyone's heart. This Goldendoodle has a long way to go, but he's already enjoying life as a puppy on the family's North Carolina property.

The best-selling author of Taking Aim and social media magnate brought fans closer for the first time when My Outdoor Family — a series highlighting Eva, Tim, and baby Leni-Bow — aired on Outdoor Channel Plus.
The outdoorswoman is truly one-of-a-kind in championing outdoor 101 and living a healthy lifestyle.
