The people in the towns of Seaside and Gearhart, Oregon, should probably build extra time into their schedules to prepare for elk crossings.
What would your boss say if you were late to work because you got stuck in an elk traffic jam? Well, this is a common occurrence in a lot of places, so it would probably be an understandable excuse to arrive a little behind schedule.

There's not much you can do here but try to enjoy the experience of seeing so many elk up close. You just have to hope anyone waiting for you understands the reason you were late was completely out of your hands!
