This week, an exploding Jeep burst into flames on New York City's notorious Cross Bronx Expressway.
According to the Bronx Times, the incident occurred new Castle Hill Avenue. Initially, the exploding Jeep Liberty burst into flames before obliterating into pieces. No deaths or injuries have been reported with the SUV incident.

In related information, the Cross Bronx Expressway is one of the worst congested highways in the country, according to a "Global Traffic Scoreboard" study by Inrix, a transportation analytics firm, with the stretch from Exit 6A (I-278) to Exit 2 receiving the worst grade. Stateside, New York is home to four of the top 10 most congested highways in the country.
