We got an exclusive inside look at The Range at Austin, a new shooting range with some interesting, all-inclusive membership options.
The Range at Austin is bringing a different image and experience to the growing activity of indoor shooting, and it's already resulting in an early success.
We spoke with the owner and operator of The Range, Grant Shaw, about the things that make the destination unique, and also got the scoop on the facility's training programs and membership opportunities.
Anyone in the general public can visit and shoot at The Range, but memberships stretch from individuals who pay a little more than $50 a month, to VIP members at $225. The Patriot Club, the facility's crowning jewel, features all the amenities a good range should and more, including a full event space, private lockers, an outdoor patio and cigar lounge.
The retail space accommodates the largest inventory of guns in the state of Texas to date, and features one of the most unique display models ever used in a gun store. The LED screens add an interesting, engaging, and cutting edge perspective on the traditional gun shopping experience.
