These bass made it through Hurricane Harvey safe and sound!
If you've ever followed the Fish Whisperer on Youtube, you've no doubt seen his awesome videos where he feeds his "pet" bass by hand in a pond.
Unfortunately, where he lives, Katy, Texas, was hit hard by hurricane Harvey and the pond with the bass rose almost seven feet! So, how did the fish ride out the storm? It turns out they are just fine. And very hungry!
This is amazing and very interesting at the same time. One would think the extreme flooding Harvey has brought would scatter these bass and other fish all over the place. But somehow they knew to stay put and ended up back in the exact same place after the waters receded. It's an interesting takeaway if you're ever fishing somewhere that has flooded recently.
Also, from all of us at Wide Open Spaces, Fish Whisperer, we're glad to see you are doing all right in the wake of this devastating storm. Hang in there Texas, you'll get through this!
