Not to bring politics into a fishing article, but it's been a very long time since American tourists were able to travel to Cuba. However, that all changed a few years ago under President Obama. Once a deal was struck to open relations, fishermen started migrating south in a big way. One species in particular that's been known for years to have good fly fishing in Cuba is the bonefish. We'll see what happens now that this current administration is rolling back relations with this isolated dictatorship of the Caribbean. Unfortunately, it appears American tourists dollars have been directly propping up the military monopoly down there. If that's the case, videos like this are going to go away in hurry.
