Yokohama has unveiled an extreme new off-road tire, the Geolandar X-MT.
The Geolandar X-MT is designed for extreme off-roading, excelling on mud terrain with superb traction using ultra-deep treads, a high-density triple polluter compound for wear-resistant, and Yokohama Geo-Shield construction which uses a three-ply construction and full nylon cover for extra protection against cut and chips, not to mention a more comfortable ride. Its bread maker is its tread blocks, which helps to limit pattern noise and enhanced crawling and self-cleaning capability.
"For an extreme off-road tire with tenacious grip and killer looks, the GEOLANDAR X-MT also offers outstanding treadwear and on-road handling to provide consumers - from rock-crawlers to truck enthusiasts - with an exceptional balance of performance and value," said Fardad Niknam, Yokohama senior director of consumer product planning and product marketing.
The Initial lineup of Yokohama Geolandar tires will comprise of 10 sizes ranging from 17 inches to 40-inch rim diameters.
Look for the Geolandar X-MT go on sale in the United States July 1.
