The reboot of Aguila's story has produced a leader in the ammo field.
Aguila Ammunition has been around since 1961, but not a lot is known about the longstanding ammo company.
It wasn't long ago that they underwent a management and forward-facing brand reboot, which has helped them establish a place in the market for a wide variety of ammunition. The Mexico-based company teamed up with Texas Armament & Technology (Tx-AT) to begin a facility-wide Modernization and Optimization project to accomplish a lofty goal: Redefine ammunition production and reliability.
The company's machines are actually located in an old Remington factory, where they've rolled out enough bullets to become one of the world's largest producers of rimfire ammo.
The initial step in their ammo-making process is where they really make it count. Since no subpar materials enter their factory in the first place, no subpar products will ever leave it.
What really makes Aguila impress us is the level of selection their ammo lines hold. Rimfire has the widest range, but there's a lot to check out when browsing their website. "Something for everyone" gets overused, but it's truly applicable in this situation. Just scrolling through their rimfire selection alone can make you want to pick up a new hobby.
Hollow point hunting rounds, super-quiet .22 Long Rifle ammo, and even a one-of-a-kind "Minishell" can all be stamped with the Aguila name, keeping up with the high standards set by the biggest names in the business.
And that's just the thing: Aguila deserves to be a big name, and it seems like it's only a matter of time before they reach the epoch of their overall goal: to provide innovative performance with each and every shot.
