Sometimes, you just can't get out on the water, but every fishing simulator we've tried comes up a little short.
That may change Aug. 29, when Fishing Planet debuts for PS4.
Did you check out that game engine footage? The fish, the water, the rod and reel action... all some of the most realistic in a fishing simulator setting. And the options! More than 70 species of fish to target. Twelve realistic waterways to fish. Thousands of tackle combinations.
Now, we're not saying this fishing simulator comes anywhere close to the real thing. No virtual fishing ever will. And I don't know about you, but I don't look like I'm in a tournament when I go fishing, especially from shore or a dock.
However, if the weather sucks, you're under the weather or whatever the reason you can't get on the water, this might be the most realistic fishing simulator option you have.
Until you can get out and do the real thing.
