Texas-based Hennessey Performance Engineering is an expert at upgrade packages for a wide range of vehicles. According to HPE, they offer "a complete line of street-legal with warranty, track-tested and dyno-proven high-performance aftermarket upgrades."
The Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk tuner SUV from HPE shows just how the legit these guys really are.
This model already comes equipped with some serious muscle underneath the hood—a 6.2L HEMI V8 that churns out 707 horsepower and 645 lb-ft of torque. It also features launch control and a torque reserve system that helps it achieve an 11.6-second quarter-mile time.
To start, they created the Hennessey HPE850 Upgrade. This increases the vehicle's power to a rockin' 852 horsepower and 845 lb-ft of torque. It sprints from 0-60 mph in just 2.9 seconds, and it completes a quarter-mile run in 10.9 seconds.

Apparently, though, that wasn't enough for Hennessey.
The Jeep Trackhawk HPE1000 Supercharged Upgrade is where things get interesting.
With it intact, the all-wheel drive, Dodge Hellcat V8-stuffed Hennessey Trackhawk reaches a max 1,012 horsepower and 969 lb-ft of torque. In just 2.7 seconds, it rockets from 0-60 mph, its quarter-mile time is a quick 10.7 seconds, and it boasts a ridiculous top speed.
This system includes several performance-infused components such as a high-flow 4.5-liter supercharger bypass valve, a high-flow air induction system and HPE engine management and chassis dyno calibration.
Hennessey exterior badges are stamped on the rear and side, and a Hennessey HPE1000 serial numbered plaque signed by John Hennessey himself is located inside.
It takes Shell V-Power 93 octane gasoline and Pennzoil ultra platinum synthetic oil. A one-year/12,000-mile limited warranty comes equipped.
The AWD Hennessey Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk is added to the already-long list of vehicles that HPE has played with. Additional models include the Camaro that achieves 1,000 horsepower and the Sierra that gets up to 805 horsepower.
