What constitutes a classic lever-action rifle?
How about a Marlin made well over a decade ago?
Watch Hickok45 do some shooting with a JM Marlin 1895 .45-70.
Hickok45 had been looking for a Marlin 1895 rifle from before the "Remlin" problems that came after Remington bought Marlin. He found what he was looking for at the Tulsa Gun Show.
This particular rifle is a Cowboy model, with the serial number prefix "JM." These rifles are certainly sought after by fans of the mighty .45-70 cartridge.
You just never know what treasure you'll bring home from a gun show!
