The Holland Lop rabbit is one of the smallest lop-eared rabbit breeds, and we are obsessed with this lop-eared cutie. Here is the 411 on the Holland Lop bunny.
We love rabbits. If you are looking for a small pet, we think a pet rabbit is one of the best options out there. They are insanely cute, friendly, and just brimming with personality.
The oh-so-adorable Holland Lop is one of the most popular rabbit breeds in the United States. First bred in the Netherlands by Dutch breeder, Adrian de Cock, the pet bunny was developed by cross-breeding the French Lop rabbit and the Netherland Dwarf rabbit. After strengthening the lop gene with the English Lop, the Holland Lop bunny we know and love today was born. Here's everything you need to know about the lovable tiny rabbit with floppy ears.
Appearance of Holland Lops
This bunny just cannot get any cuter. Bred to be a dwarf rabbit, this tiny lop breed has it all: Irresistibility cute looks, mini-sized, sweet, and not to mention, they are easy to handle. Just one look at the Holland Lop will guarantee to melt some hearts!
Holland Lops are small, compact bunnies with a short, stocky body and short thick legs. Their compact bodies are quite muscular and strong for their tiny size. They have short, round noses and long almond-shaped, floppy ears with a defined fur puff at the back of the head, known as a crown.
They only weigh up to four pounds max when fully grown.
