Honda will likely call its new crossover the Passport.
Looks like Honda will reach 15 years into its past to name its next crossover. But unlike the original Passport, this one won't be Isuzu-based.
Though a Honda spokesman wouldn't confirm the Passport revival, Automotive News says Honda dealers have been told to expect its introduction in November.
The public will probably get its first glimpse of the two-row crossover at the Los Angeles Auto Show later that month.
SUV shoppers can probably expect the new crossover to be based on the Honda Pilot, which is built at the company's Lincoln, Alabama plant. But the Passport should be about six inches shorter than the Pilot, pitting it squarely against the Ford Edge and Nissan Murano.
