When the mother of these three puppies passed away while giving birth, they were surrendered to the Humane Rescue Alliance.
There, the two-day-old puppies would be given the proper care they required to ensure their survival.
The Humane Rescue Alliance has over 150 years of combined experience in animal welfare, as the organization was created out of a union between the Washington Humane Society and the Washington Animal Rescue League.
Our staff received an adorable surprise yesterday when a patron surrendered three 2-day-old puppies, safely enclosed in a @Nike shoe box. Sadly, the puppies' mother passed away while giving birth and the family knew they did not have the resources care for such young puppies. pic.twitter.com/ETL3730igt

The three puppies were aptly named Nike, Swoosh, and Sneakers.

The Humane Rescue Alliance is very thankful that the family of these pups entrusted them to care for the puppies, as their skilled team knew exactly what to do when they arrived.
