We've all seen young children in stores who throw temper tantrums because their parents won't give them what they want, whether it's a candy bar or a new toy. But could you imagine dealing with your dog's temper tantrum, too? That's an experience most dog owners would take a hard pass on. Picture this: You're walking into the pet store, and your pup is set on a toy. You tell him, no, and he has a meltdown in the aisle that would make any toddler look well-behaved. It sounds like a total nightmare!
For one Siberian husky owner, this disastrous (albeit hilarious) situation became a reality. A viral YouTube video showcases every part of this husky's temper tantrum. Clearly, this particular pup is highly determined to get what he wants and won't stop until everyone knows it.
Zeus, the husky, loves to lie in the tub and play with the running water. When his owner asks if he wants to go for a walk, Zeus firmly tells her no. But he doesn't leave it there. Zeus throws a full-blown temper tantrum when he realizes his owner will not turn the water on for him.
Huskies are naturally expressive dogs, so him throwing a fit isn't too far outside normal behavior for the breed. But if your dog starts throwing temper tantrums regularly, it's important to get to the root of the behavior. Additional training may be required; if that doesn't help, you may need to speak to a dog behaviorist. All dogs tend to complain or beg for things, but when it becomes disruptive, it's time to make a change. Every once in a while, though, it's just plain hilarious!
