The French MAT 49 is one of a kind.
The MAT 49 is a submachine gun France made in 1949 that's seen a lot of military conflicts over its long life. Chambered in 9mm and built heavy, this foolproof submachine gun gets the job done. It's know to be a very reliable gun.
While not a thing of beauty and the all steel construction can get real cold in arctic conditions or heat up while firing it works quite well. The little machine gun earned much respect in jungles and other rough conditions by both the French soldiers and anyone who captured them.
