Did you catch an Eclipse Fish? 

Well, the big eclipse came and went. Hopefully you were in an area of the country that got a pretty good view. Where I was, it was probably one of the least productive work days of the year, especially right around 2:30pm. However, some people were out fishing during the eclipse. What's even more impressive about their timing of this adventure is the photos that quickly followed. If you happened to catch an eclipse fish, did your pictures turn out like these?

Wide-open boils during the eclipse for two hours , fish went crazy . We started trolling at 9 am no bites until 1:30 an then non stop boils . I don't know how many we got , truly unbelievable. #4. And now that bass is blind...

Why just watch it when you can fish it?!? Folks were saying that the eclipse can confuse wildlife into thinking that it's dusk. So I got to thinking, dusk is usually when the rise happens...if it's going to happen at all. It was the shortest one I've ever experienced...probably about three or four minutes. But the top water activity definitely changed. The birds got quiet, the crickets and toads started in, and the bass rose to the occasion.
