If you want a true glimpse of what nature looks like, take a look at this erythristic hen roosting with her poults.
Seeing an erythristic hen roosting with her poults is a once-in-a-lifetime event, even for most outdoorsmen. Now, luckily, thanks to Robin Conover, you can experience it from anywhere. Conover was lucky enough to spot the hen and her poults while out on an afternoon hike at Radnor Lake in Tennessee. Take a look at the amazing footage she was able to capture, seemingly without disturbing the roosting birds.
There is just something so peaceful and reassuring about this video. Knowing that these poults are likely spending one of their very first nights roosted in a tree and that the line of turkeys is successfully being passed down to the next generation. That's what nature, wilderness, and conservation are really all about.
