Because pushing a wild boar off a cliff isn't just moronic, it's simply cruel.
We've highlighted a wide range of morons here at Wide Open Spaces. From the guy who thought it'd be cool to wrestle an 11-point buck to the fella who figured he'd get his kicks from dressing up as a T-Rex to play paddy-cake with a full-grown alligator, we've seen it all.
With the new year comes a fresh crop of morons, eager to display their stupidity for the world to see. Our nod for the January award goes to these seven tourists, who while visiting the Cares Trail in Spain's famous Picos de Europa mountain range, figured they'd get their kicks by pushing a wild boar of a steep cliff to its death.

Police in Spain were not impressed with this blatant act of animal cruelty when video surfaced, and Civil Guard officers have made a public plea for any information regarding the identity of the perpetrators.
It's believed the boar was injured previous to the onslaught of stick prodding, making the actions of this group even more despicable.
Another month, another seven deserving morons. Go figure.
