Fiat Chrysler is readying the debut of an entry-level Jeep by 2022.
Nestled below the compact Renegade, the new vehicle from Jeep will be branded as an "urban SUV."
Little is known regarding specifications other than that it will include electric options. It will also not be as prominent as an off-road vehicle, according to Jeep head Jeff Hines.
"Clearly, it's not going to be as good an off-roader as something like Wrangler, but we will offer four-wheel drive even if it won't be for everyone," said Hines.
No specifications or teaser shots have been released, other than its a good chance it will have an electric option, with the brand committing to provide all-electric or hybrid options for all models by 2022.
