I have long touted the benefits of using small watercraft to get to those less pressured fishing spots and a kayak is probably the best option out there. With a very shallow draft and almost silent movement an angler can slip into those back bays, marshy areas, creeks and more inaccessible river spots to put lures if front of some real monsters.

Kayaks also let you launch into almost any water you can find that no motorized boat has a chance in hell of accessing; this opens up so many more fishing areas which have probably not seen an angler all season. Less pressure equates to more aggressive fish and better hookups.
