You can fish a long time and never land a bass over 10 pounds. These two young men did that and more.
It wasn't just a 10-pound bass, though. It outweighed that size by quite a bit. Reeling in a fish this big is surely enough to get the adrenaline pumping through your body. It's one of the best feelings in the world.
I can't help but smile when I see kids getting this excited about a fish.
It seems more and more kids are shying away from sports and the outdoors these days. Social media, electronic devices and video games dominate the attention of so many. So, it's nice to see these kids finding so much joy in the outdoors.
Additionally, I have moments in my life where I can go back and remember the emotions of a day like this. That feeling is awesome, and it's instilled my passion for the outdoors.
