Looks like lightning just struck twice.
If you remember back to last year, a very rare Canadian sturgeon was caught. What makes this fish so odd is the fact that some 40 years ago, as it was estimated, it damaged its nose. The fishermen who have seen it since gave it the name "Pig Nose."
As luck would have it, a now-20-year-old fishing guide named Nick McCabe caught the legendary beast. At the time, it was estimated to be more than 80 years old, just over 10 feet long and weighed approximately 650 pounds.
Now, fast forward one year and McCabe did it again—he caught Pig Nose for the second time.
No information was given regarding how much this monster Canadian sturgeon has grown over the past year, but who cares? Knowing that catching a giant fish like this twice in back-to-back years is crazy enough.
Congrats Nick! Maybe now you can go for a three-peat.
