Les Stroud has launched his own video on demand network.
We haven't heard too much from "Survivorman" Les Stroud lately. But it seems he's been quite busy setting up his own online video on demand service for episodes of his show Survivorman.
But that's not all. It seems he's really going all out with what he's dubbing SMTV Network. See his announcement below. He wants to involve his audience like never before.
It sounds like some interesting content he's planning on making. We'll have to keep an eye on this project and see how he does.
As for going it alone with his TV network, it makes sense, there's already a great niche on the internet for survival and prepping how-to videos. A quick look at his website reveals he's giving discounts to students, veterans and more.
It's funny I was just talking with a friend the other day about how I haven't heard much about Stroud in a while. I certainly miss seeing his show on TV. Best of luck Les. It sounds like some exciting things ahead for Survivorman fans!
