We could all use some Bill Dance bloopers right about now.
When facing a long, tough week, everyone could use a good laugh now and then. We immediately thought of our favorite legendary pro angler Bill Dance.
Over the course of his long career on television, Dance has acquired more than his share of funny outtakes.
This five-minute clip reel has plenty of belly laughs. Keep an eye out for another legendary angler, Roland Martin along the way too!
There's a nice variety of fishing and general outdoor bloopers here. I think my favorite was him losing the bass and the lure snapping back and snatching the cap off his head. I've always wondered if his bloopers were real or staged. I'm not sure there was any way to fake that one.
A few of these bloopers we had never seen before like his fall off the ATV and the minor bike riding accident with Roland Martin. I think we saw that ride ending in disaster before it even started. These guys should clearly stick to the fishing!
Most people know Dance for his show, but they forget what a dominant tournament angler he was. He won multiple National Bass Fishing Titles and the B.A.S.S. Angler of the Year award three times back in the 1970s. Normally, you would think with success would come a degree of snobbishness.
That's not the case with Dance though. We can really appreciate a guy who isn't afraid to laugh at himself on a consistent basis. No wonder this guy has garnered so many fans over the years. Thanks Bill, for the great laughs during an otherwise rough week!
