The Colt 1860 Army Revolver was the universal handgun of the day.
This ultra tough cap and ball revolver was in use by many shooters in all walks of life.
YouTuber mark3smle does a great video review of the Uberti Colt 1860 Army Revolver.
When the U.S. Army wanted a tough cap and ball revolver they turned to the Colt 1860 Army Revolver. This .44 caliber revolver was made of steel instead of iron giving it a better strength to handle abuse.
As with even modern arms of today, this revolver preferred by the army was then used heavily by other shooters of that time. If imitation was the most sincere form of flattery this revolver had quite the following. This Uberti copy of the Colt 1860 Army Revolver is indeed one hard hitting shooter.
A special thanks goes out to YoutTuber mark3smle for the very informative video on such a historical revolver.
